Join us for a community-wide discussion on $2.00 a Day: Living on Almost Nothing in America by Kathryn J. Edin and Luke Shaefer. We'll be talking about poverty, income inequality, and government assistance, focusing on what's happening in our own neighborhood.
Organizers of OTOB will introduce the book, talk about why we chose this as a topic, and get people starting to discuss the issues. You don't need to have read the book yet to come.
Small Group Discussions
After you read the book or while you are reading, plan to come to a small group discussion. Attend one or all-- it's up to you. No need to RSVP to join.

Local organizations and leaders dealing with poverty, homelessness, hunger, job training, etc. will discuss what is happening in our community, answer questions, and talk about how we can help.
