Ferguson Reading Series: Ruth Foley and Sara Biggs Chaney

Join us for our monthly open mic poetry series! After the featured poets read, the floor is open for others to share. Please bring one or two poems, and come early if you would like to sign up to read.

Ruth Foley lives in Massachusetts, where she teaches English for Wheaton College. Her work appears in numerous web and print journals, including Antiphon, The Bellingham Review, The Louisville Review, and Sou’wester. She is the author of two chapbooks, Dear Turquoise (dancing girl press) and Creature Feature (ELJ Publications), and serves as Managing Editor for Cider Press Review.

Sara Biggs Chaney received her Ph.D. in English in 2008 and currently teaches first-year and upper-level writing in Dartmouth's Institute for Writing and Rhetoric. Her most recent chapbook, _Ann Coulter's Letter to the Young Poets_, was released from dancing girl press in November, 2014. Sara's poems have recently appeared or are forthcoming in RHINO, Sugar House Review, Juked, Columbia Poetry Review, [PANK], Gargoyle, Thrush Poetry Journal, and elsewhere.
